Work through this tool with an AI
Our verdict
Recording a call and summarising it automatically is no longer a differentiator. Without it you run a CRM full of empty fields, you lose context at every handover, and you train new people on anecdotes instead of real conversations. With it you stand exactly where your competitors stand. The edge only appears where calls are turned systematically into product, pricing and objection-handling decisions, and no recording tool does that on its own.

Who it fits
Solo
suitable
The free plan records and transcribes without limit but caps AI analysis at ten meetings. Anyone who wants the summaries permanently ends up paying 18 euros a month.
Mid-market
suitable
Eighteen to 29 euros per user per month on annual billing stays predictable, and billing follows seats rather than minutes recorded. The harder question is who in the company actually needs a seat.
Enterprise
suitable with caveats
Custom SSO, SCIM, company-wide activity logs and privately hosted AI all sit in the Enterprise plan, whose price is not public. Without audit logging and without a contractually fixed AI region, sign-off from corporate compliance and the works council is unlikely.
Buy, switch or build
Off-the-shelf
Recording inside the conferencing platform itself
Zoom, Teams and Meet record on their own and now ship their own AI summaries. This often costs nothing extra because it sits inside the existing licence, and the recording notice is already wired into the conferencing platform. The price you pay: recordings stay separated per platform, there is no search across all conversations, and anyone running two conferencing systems maintains two archives with no shared analysis.
AI-native
AI-native note takers
A whole class of tools is built around summarisation from the outset, often cheaper and free in its basic function. They are faster to roll out and at least equal in summary quality. But they mostly move processing to the United States and rarely disclose their subprocessors in full. For a German company with a works council that is exactly where a rollout stalls, and that is where the real difference to tl;dv lies.
Build it yourself
Recording through a bot API, analysis in your own house
Technically feasible: a meeting bot API does the recording, transcription and analysis run on models you choose, and the conversations land in your own data store next to CRM and product usage. This only pays off if call data is meant to feed your own product or your own analysis, for instance objection and pricing patterns across thousands of calls. For meeting notes alone you are paying engineering time and operational responsibility for something available off the shelf at 18 euros a month.
Our advice
- Solo: Free plan, and move to Pro only once ten AI meetings regularly stop being enough.
- Mid-market: Buy, but hand out seats only to the people who actually run customer calls.
- Enterprise: Settle works council, AI region and audit logging in writing before rollout, otherwise it becomes Enterprise.
Who is behind it
Staying power: Young
A German vendor with a clean register entry, audited security evidence and a disclosed supply chain. Capitalisation is thin, however: a single seed round in June 2022, with no further funding recorded since. That may mean capital efficiency or a difficult follow-on raise. At the same time, meeting recording is the most crowded and best funded segment in the go-to-market space.

Cost of leaving: Moderate
Individual recordings, transcripts and notes can be downloaded, and from the Pro plan upwards an API, webhooks and an MCP server allow the archive to be pulled programmatically. We found no documented one-click bulk export. The cost of leaving comes not from the contract but from the archive: the longer you have recorded, the more conversation history sits with the vendor. On the free plan the question answers itself, because recordings are removed after three months.

What it really costs
Entry price
A free plan with unlimited recording and transcription in more than 30 languages, but capped at ten meetings with AI notes. Pro costs 18 euros per user per month on annual billing, 29 euros on monthly billing.Plan names and prices: free, Pro at 18 euros annually and 29 euros monthly, Business at 29 euros annually and 39 euros monthly per user, Enterprise on request; ten AI meetings cap on the free plan; activity logs, SCIM and custom SSO only in the Enterprise planOpen source

What gets expensive
On the jump to Business and on the number of seats. Business costs 29 euros annually and 39 euros monthly per user, and only there do you get premium multilingual transcription and analysis across multiple calls. Everything a larger IT organisation demands, namely custom SSO, SCIM, activity logs and privately hosted AI, sits in the Enterprise plan with no public price. And because billing follows seats, the invoice grows with the team rather than with the benefit.
What it displaces
- Hand-written notes typed into the CRM afterwards
- Separate recording archives per conferencing platform
- Call reports written from memory after the meeting
Interfaces
- REST API and webhooks (from Pro upwards)
- MCP server for language models (from Pro upwards)
- CRM and workflow connections through Paragon
- Recording in Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet, plus a bot-free desktop recorder
Matching methods
- Sales Onboarding Machine (CLOSER)The programme requires new hires to listen to real calls in their first two weeks, and without a searchable body of recordings those calls exist only as anecdote.
- Sales Acceleration FormulaThe method derives hiring and coaching from traits that demonstrably link to selling success in your own team, and that needs analysable calls rather than reps' self-reports.
- MEDDIC / MEDDPICCThe checklist asks for evidenced value, the approval path and a champion, and whether those points were actually covered shows in the call itself, not in a CRM field filled in afterwards.
