Peec AI

Shows whether and how a brand turns up in answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google's AI mode, in which position, in what tone, and which sources those systems assemble the answer from.

Our verdict

Measuring creates no edge. Without it you notice too late that a demand channel is drying up, and you steer content by feel. With it you have not yet won a single mention. The edge only comes from what you change afterwards in the content and in which sources get cited. So: it keeps you from falling behind, and it is explicitly not a moat.

Who it fits

Solo

suitable with caveats

Eighty-five euros a month for 50 prompts, three models and one project is affordable. It only pays off if search actually brings demand. Anyone selling through network and referral is measuring a number here that leads nowhere.

Mid-market

suitable

One hundred fifty to 350 prompts across three models cover a product with several topic areas, and every plan includes unlimited users. At this size there is usually someone who turns the numbers into editorial work. Without that person it stays a report.

Enterprise

suitable with caveats

Single sign-on, API access and more than three models only start in the Enterprise plan, which carries no list price. Storage region, audit logging and certifications are not publicly substantiated. That will not survive a serious vendor assessment without renegotiation.

Buy, switch or build

Off-the-shelf

SEO suite with a retrofitted AI module

The established search tools have retrofitted visibility reports for AI answers. If you already pay for the suite you get the number without a second invoice and without a second tool in daily work. In exchange, model coverage, countries and query frequency are narrower, and the new metric sits right beside the classic search metrics, which invites confusion.

AI-native

The market already is the AI-native category

This class of tool exists only because answer engines started intercepting demand. Every notable vendor was founded in 2024 or 2025, this one in January 2025. The choice is therefore not between old and new but between several young vendors with a very similar measurement idea. That shifts the review away from the feature list towards staying power, exit rights and how traceable the measurement method is.

Build it yourself

Run the prompts against the models yourself

Technically this is small: a list of questions, a schedule, calls to the model APIs, mentions and cited sources written into your own table. The effort is not in building it but in running it. Model access and prices change, countries and languages multiply the runs, answers vary from run to run, and your own measurement has to stay methodically stable over months or you end up measuring your own rebuilds. Worth it only when the measurement itself is part of the product or the consulting offer.

Our advice

  • Solo: First check whether search brings demand at all.
  • Mid-market: Buy, but name the person who turns the numbers into content first.
  • Enterprise: Buy as a pilot, and settle storage region and audit logging in writing before any rollout.

Who is behind it

Staying power: Young

The company was founded on 13 January 2025 as a UG with 300 euros of share capital and now trades as a GmbH. Growth and funding are exceptional, yet the company history is still shorter than the period over which introducing a measurement tool pays for itself.

Cost of leaving: Low

The terms explicitly grant the switching right under Regulation (EU) 2023/2854: termination on no more than two months' notice, release of all exportable data in a common machine-readable format, and switching assistance charged at cost. A monthly subscription ends with the current billing cycle anyway. What costs you is not the exit but the break in the time series. Every tool in this class queries differently, so the history does not carry over to the next vendor and measurement restarts at zero.

Regulation and data

How to read the traffic lightHow to read the traffic lightThe traffic light rates how well a point is evidenced, not how good the tool is. It draws only on the value, note and source held in the profile. Where a statement is missing, it rates the absence, not a guess. What it really costs

Entry price

Eighty-five euros a month buys 50 prompts, three models, one project and unlimited users. Pro is 205 euros for 150 prompts and two projects, Advanced 425 euros for 350 prompts, five projects, multi-country tracking and the Looker Studio connector. Paid annually the three plans drop to 70, 180 and 360 euros a month. As of 2026-07-30Plans, prompt and project limits, model add-on prices, agency plans and the credit calculationOpen source

What gets expensive

In three places. First the fourth model: each extra one costs 30 euros a month on Starter, 70 on Pro, 140 on Advanced. Watching six systems instead of three doubles the bill. Second the currency: the pricing page detects the visitor's location in the browser and then quotes in euros or dollars, and the dollar list runs noticeably higher at 95, 245 and 495 a month. Third the agency plans, which are priced not in prompts but in credits: one prompt times one model times one day equals one credit, so roughly 90 a month per prompt at three models, with a minimum allocation of 900 per project. Essential costs 205, Growth 420 and Scale 675 dollars a month. Single sign-on and API access exist only in the Enterprise plan, which has no list price.

What it displaces

  • Judging visibility in AI answers by gut feeling
  • Asking ChatGPT and Perplexity by hand

Interfaces

  • CSV export
  • Looker Studio from the Advanced plan upwards
  • API on the Enterprise plan per the pricing table
  • MCP connection listed in the feature table, though the plan it belongs to is not clearly readable there
  • Data handover in a machine-readable format under the EU Data Act

Matching methods

  • Demand Creation vs. Demand CaptureThe method separates created from captured demand, and Peec shows whether a channel that returns answers instead of links still routes existing demand to you.
  • Brand as Repeated PairingThe method wants the name to come to mind at the moment of purchase, and Peec measures exactly that in third-party systems, namely whether a brand gets named at all when the matching question is asked.
